The Tashkent to Oybek border crossing (to Khujand) journey

The drive from Tashkent to the Oybek border crossing takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Your driver drops you at the Uzbek checkpoint; you cross on foot and continue to Khujand by local transport or a car arranged on the other side.

Oybek is the main crossing between the Tashkent region and northern Tajikistan. Khujand is on the other side, a short drive from the border.
