About this experience
Bukhara has been a city of craftspeople for centuries, and many workshops are still tucked into courtyards around the old city. This half-day walk takes you behind the shop fronts to see the work being done.
You'll visit blacksmiths making the famous stork-shaped scissors, embroiderers stitching suzani and miniature painters at work — with time to talk to the craftspeople, not just shop.
