Getting to and around Kokand
Kokand was once the seat of the Kokand Khanate, and the Khudayar Khan Palace remains one of the best-preserved 19th-century palaces in Central Asia — a worthwhile stop on any Fergana Valley route.
It sits roughly an hour from Fergana and about the same from Namangan, so we often route Kokand as a stop between the two rather than a separate round trip, keeping the driving time efficient across the valley.
