Tashkent to Fergana by train or private transfer?

An honest comparison. Both are good options — it depends on your plans. Train vs private transfer, leg by leg.

By train

Trains run between Tashkent and the Fergana Valley through the Kamchik rail tunnel. They are a good option if the timetable suits you, but check which station serves the town you are staying in.

By private car Door to door

A private car goes over the pass door to door, can stop at viewpoints on the way and drops you at your hotel. It is the simpler choice with luggage or a group, and when you want to set your own departure time.

What the car costs per person

The price is per vehicle, so it gets cheaper per person as your group grows. Compare with train tickets for the same number of people — and remember the taxis to and from the stations.
