Getting to and around Bukhara
Bukhara is about 600 km from Tashkent — roughly 7–8 hours by road, or a shorter hop by train or domestic flight if you want to save travel time. Most visitors combine it with Samarkand, so we regularly run the Samarkand–Bukhara private transfer route (about 3.5–4 hours) as part of a multi-city itinerary.
Once you're in Bukhara, the old town — Poi Kalyan, the Ark fortress and Lyab-i Hauz — is walkable, so your driver will usually drop you right at your hotel on the edge of the historic centre and be on call for your next leg, whether onward to Khiva or back to Samarkand.
