About this experience
Plov is more than a dish in Uzbekistan — it's how families celebrate, how neighbours gather and how guests are welcomed. In this hands-on class you prepare it the traditional way, in a heavy cast-iron kazan over the fire, with a local cook guiding each step.
You'll learn why the carrots are cut by hand into long matchsticks, how the rice is layered and steamed, and the small details each region argues about. When the plov is ready, you share it at the table with bread, salads and green tea.
